Important Information Regarding the 2025 BACC Scholarship
Important Dates:
- Launch date: August 18, 2025
- Closing date: October 17, 2025, 3:00 PM
- Review period: October 17 – November 19
- Winner announced internally: November 20, 2025
- Winner announced to community members: TBD
Awards:
- 2 scholarships
- $1,000 each
Eligibility:
- You need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for one of the scholarships:
- Must be actively enrolled in a college, graduate program, trade school,
or adult education course at any level during the current academic
award year (August 2025 – May 2026). Ongoing coursework must be
part of an accredited or recognized educational program. - Must be affiliated with a Bartlett Area Chamber member business
which is in good standing - Owner
- Employee
- Immediate family: child, legal dependent, grandchild, spouse
- Agree to submit photo and brief bio for Chamber use if selected
- Must be actively enrolled in a college, graduate program, trade school,
Requirements:
- You will need to submit the following – You may want to gather the needed
documents prior to submitting your application- Personal Information:
- Name, email, phone, address
- Chamber affiliation:
- Chamber business name, Sponsor name, Sponsor phone,
- Sponsor email – Sponsors will be contacted to confirm affiliation
- Academic Information:
- Name of last/current school and dates attended
- Name of institution for which scholarship is intended
- Degree program information and projected graduation date
- Background and activities:
- You will need a brief description of the following:
- Work experience
- Awards/recognition
- Extracurricular or community involvement
- Supporting Documentation
- You will need to submit the following documents:
- Legal photo ID
- Proof of enrollment for 2025-2026 academic year
- Proof of academic performance from the most recent complete term
- You will also be asked to submit a 500-750 word essay (typed, double spaced) for one of the following prompts
- Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked personal growth and led you to your current educational path.
- Describe the role of someone influential in your life who shaped your educational or career direction.

Process:
- You submit your application.

- You can email Scholarship@bartlettareachamber.com for a PDF version
- You will submit all your application and all the supporting documents to the above email address
- The scholarship committee will review your application and determine which candidates will move on to the interview process.
- Candidates who move on will be notified through email and given instructions on how to sign up for the interview
- Interviews will be conducted
- You will be meet with a member of the scholarship committee over zoom at your chosen time
- Interviews will be recorded in order to share with other committee members
- Determinations will be made
- Committee members will meet and decide on the 2 winners
- Winners will be contacted after November 20, 2025
