A Ribbon Cutting ceremony is an important part of your overall marketing and advertising plan and is a great way to kick off the grand opening of your business. It offers an opportunity to meet members of the business community and get acquainted with your neighbors and other Chamber members.
An event can be as large or small as you wish. We can invite the Village Elected Officials, Chamber Ambassadors, and Chamber members or keep it small with just a handful of people and make an announcement after the event.
The Bartlett Area Chamber will supply a giant pair of scissors and ribbon for the celebration. We will also take photographs of your event and share them with our members as well as post on social media. We can provide suggestions/sources for services such as catering, publicity, and special event planning.
As a member of our Chamber and as a host of the event, we suggest that you offer guests light refreshments. You may also decorate and have giveaways and/or prizes if you wish. We will have you speak at the ceremony to tell us about your business services and introduce the staff. You may schedule your event for any time of day; however, we find that hosting during the lunch hour brings out the largest group of attendees.
